This weekend the Carp Slam is on! The annual event is scheduled for Saturday August 25th and will test the best Carp Fly Fishermen in the Denver area. The competition is fierce as many fly fishermen on the Front Range have become carp fly fishing fanatics and our local South Platte River is full of both challenging and technical carp fishing!
This year Denver Trout Unlimited will be hosting the “Evening on the South Platte” event which will showcase the Carp Slam winners along with live music, food and of course drinks! Be sure and come check it out.
